A little help,
when you need it.

Installation, file formats, licences, and finding your downloads. Start here.

Installing on a Mac
Unzip the package. Double-click an OTF or TTF font and choose Install Font in Font Book. Restart the design app if the family does not appear. Install one format of a style at a time to avoid duplicate entries.
Installing on Windows
Unzip the package, right-click the OTF or TTF file, and choose Install. Restart the app you want to use it in. Your system may request administrator permission for an installation that applies to all users.
OTF, TTF or WOFF2. Which file do I need?
OTF and TTF are desktop font formats. WOFF2 is for self-hosting on a website using CSS and should not be installed as a desktop font. Your selected licence determines the delivered files.
Using fonts in creative apps
Check that your app supports custom fonts and the feature you want to use. Some apps or plans restrict uploading fonts, and OpenType support varies. A trial is the best place to start; compatibility with every crafting or design app has not been verified.
My font is missing or looks different
Restart the app after installing. Check for older or duplicate copies of the family. Select a real style from the font menu instead of applying artificial bold or italic. Caps-only fonts intentionally show capitals when you type lowercase keys.
How do alternates work?
Alternate glyphs are different drawings of a letter. Supported apps expose OpenType features through their typography or character controls. The product page lists what is included; the restricted browser preview may expose fewer features than the retail font.
Getting an updated version
The planned buyer portal provides access to the files attached to your purchase. Check the version and release notes before reinstalling, and keep a personal backup of your purchased files.
Recovering a purchase
At launch, the Polar customer portal will use your purchase email to give you access to receipts and file downloads. This prototype includes a local demo of that experience. Explore order recovery
A problem with an order
For a corrupt file, incorrect package, duplicate purchase, or licence question, contact the foundry with the product name and order reference. The final refund policy remains under review. View the policy draft
